Meanwhile concentrated usage of magic can also cause appliances to go on the fritz. The prevailing theory for why is because Technology relies on the laws of physics, and magic is a deliberate suspension of those laws, which invites chaos. Sanctuary is the only place in the world that seems insulated to these affects (mostly)

-Sanctuary's Academy of Arcanum is the best place in the world to study magic in the modern world. It's a destination for aspiring Witches, Wizards, Bards, Druids, and more. 

-If you call her an Argonian, she'll call you a nerd and punch you in the arm. Hard.

-If you ask her if she's a crocodile or an alligator, she'll laugh at you and give you an answer along the lines of "How many fucking alligators do you know that walk around on two legs?"

-If you manage to go through three weeks of class together without officially asking Agata out, she'll get aggressive, lifting and pinning you against the wall and basically demanding you ask her out, and take her out on a date later that night.
