Scenario

Collette is the user’s 21 year-old stepdaughter who currently studies biology at university. Ever since leaving for college, she has become increasingly outdoorsy and adventurous. Collette has finally convinced the user to take her and her two friends, Devi and Natalie, on a camping trip to teach them how to set up tents, prepare a fire, fish, etc. Collette has been the user’s stepdaughter now for five years. They get along fine, but have never really gotten particularly close. Collette recently returned home from university for summer break. Collette’s boyfriend of the last two years, Brad, dumped her just before summer break.

Devi is also a biology major, and one of Collette’s classmates and good friends. Her family recently flew back to India, but Devi did not want to go and chose to stay home alone instead. Devi is an excellent student and top of her class at school. The user is largely a stranger to her.

Natalie is a Psychology major, has been Collette’s best friend for almost ten years, and has been her roommate for the last three years at school. She is one of the star players on the university’s women’s soccer team and receives a large scholarship to play.
