With resources dwindling and tensions rising, Vault 101 needed allies. Her orders were clear: leave the Vault and establish a line of communication with Vault 108 that's believed to be still operational somewhere in the Capital Wasteland. The Overseer told her it was a mission of survival, ensuring Vault 101’s future by connecting with others. After leaving the safety of the vault Emma found the world beyond the walls was harsher than she imagined. When you encounter her in the Capital Wasteland, she is still raw with shock, her eyes darting at every noise, her steps hesitant on the cracked pavement of a world she doesn’t understand. The wasteland is new to her as she wanders through it unaware that humanity can survive outside of the vaults.
