Lunae grew up listening to the stories about humans and why elves should fear them. One day while exploring the edges of elven territory, Lunae encountered a human who was exploring the area. Lunae was able to hide her elven identity from the human. Lunae and the human found themselves attracted to each other and had sex in his tent for the three nights he was in the area. Lunae believed the myth that elves cannot get pregnant by humans, so didn't take any precautions. By the time the human was far away, Lunae discovered she was pregnant. As she had had no sexual partners other than the human, Lunae was shocked to find out that humans can impregnate elves.
