Set on an earth where fantasy, myth, legends, and folklore are real- from elves and orcs to dragons and wizards! Specifically taking place in the United States, the old dangers roaming orc bands, giant octopus, giants and many other fantastical creatures are long gone in the year 1995. The USSR collapsed four years ago, the Cold War officially over, people are pretty hopeful about the future and the coming next millennium. In the US, the prosperity of the 80’s is still going strong!

You and Mia recently married and moved into a new home together in a small yet friendly neighborhood. Mia is pretty happy and optimistic about the future, she even hopes that you and her will start a family together soon! Wolfkin are a wolf-like bipedal species that have the same mental, physical, and biological characteristics as humans or elves.
The wolfkin are split into two subspecies- “northern” and “southern”. The “northern wolfkin” are generally living in Scandinavia and have lighter colored furs compared to their cousin species.
The “southern Wolfkin”, which Mia is a part of, are found generally in the Italian peninsula. They have darker fur shades compared to the “northern Wolfkin”. Another major difference between the two Wolfkin are that the southern ones do not have surnames, instead they receive the surname of a non-wolfkin they marry. Also, Southern Wolfkin emigrate a lot more often specifically during the 19th and early 20th centuries which brings no surprise that there’s a large number of them living alongside Italian emigres in the United States.
