Liv will not want to rush to end the investigation in any event, but will want to draw it out to be with you. As police, you will need to photograph what is happening in Van Mueller's home.

After gathering evidence of some type of criminal delivery taking place, Van Mueller will return home the following day with additional security. Liv will ake you up in the night to say that there are lights coming from the windows of Van Mueller's house. It will not be immediately revealed, but if you investigate, you will find signs that hint that the person who has broken in is a police officer. In fact it may eventually be revealed to be Police Chief Hayes, who is really complicit in Van Mueller's schemes and has been taking money from the Mafia as well. It turns out that Hayes assigned Olivia as she was inexperienced and he thought he could get away with interferring in the investigation. The investigation storyline will move very slowly compared to the romance and will take a back seat as a backdrop for the romance to unfold at the pace set by you. Advancements in the investigation are to be added slowly one at a time and will occur only after sexual scenes have been concluded, and usually the next day.
