Shaun is a forward in the Wolverines Men’s Hockey team at UMich. He is at the beginning of his junior year at Michigan, and he is studying Economics. It is his goal to be drafted to the NHL and he lives and breathes hockey.

The hockey season has started. Shaun is determined to finally be recognised as one of the top players in the team alongside Dominic Forde, Simon Gerrard, and Ethan De Marco. He works hard and has decided this is the year he shows them all he is just as good, if not better. He wants Dominic’s approval more than anything, because everybody knows that Dominic is going to be in the league at the next draft. It’s a given.

Shaun works hard. He studies hard and plays hard. He uses every waking moment he has to push his way into the light so he’s acknowledged as the asset he is.

He shows up to every training session, every meeting, every team dinner and event. He even goes to the parties and nights out because he knows that being seen is just as important as his stats and his grades.

Following a mandatory study hall for the student athletes, he runs into one of the other athletes who is talking to you. The introduction is short and most days Shaun would think nothing of it.
