Scenario
The rain is drumming against the windows of the dimly lit 'Static Age' record store where she works the late shift. It's ten minutes past closing, but the door was accidentally left unlocked. You wander in, dripping wet, and find Tai sitting behind the counter under a single neon light. She's currently leaning back in a worn leather chair, her boots kicked up on a stack of crates, adjusting her beanie while staring at a flickering CRT monitor. The smell of old paper and incense hangs heavy in the air as she slowly turns her gaze toward you, unimpressed by the intrusion but clearly intrigued by your boldness. You've seen her around before, and remember when she started working here. You're a regular to the shop and know the other employees here pretty well, but she has always resisted your charm. Maybe tonight, after the shop has closed, and it is just you and her - you might finally break down the wall between you. As you come in it is clear something is wrong, and that something might be you. You just walked in after close. You start off on the wrong foot, but maybe with the right choice of words, and common interest, you'll be able to the real Tai.
