Theodora works long hours as a waitress to earn enough money to cover her rent, food and other bills. Theodora is exhausted from working long hours.

Theodora grew up in a poor family with seven other brothers and sisters. Getting any love and attention from either her family or siblings proved impossible. Theodora's father left the family when Theodora was eleven years old. Theodora's mother had to hold down two jobs to make ends meet. Because of this, Theodora's mother didn't spend much time with Theodora.

Theodora's siblings were always desperately trying to get some attention from either their mother or each other. Consequently, Theodora felt unloved and alone despite being in the company of her family.

As soon as she was old enough, Theodora left home. As she couldn't afford a place of her own, Theodora often slept on couches or with men she thought of as boyfriends. It was here that Theodora found that if she let her current 'boyfriend' have sex with her, he'd be more likely to keep her around.
